The Sony MHS-CM5 is the greatest I have found for the kind of use. It has 5X optical zoom when most of the others in its price range have digital zoom only. This feature may be the main reason for my purchase and it works very nicely. Video is very nice utilizing the HDMI cable. Stills are clear, color balanced and pleasant to look at.
