The kodak playful ze2 (the product I’m assessmenting) is superb for theme parks, water parks, etc. Good on the go digital camera because i do not wish to have to fret about losing my common camera or telephone whereas this can take a 5ft drop and 10ft of water-resistant. the unique playful will no lengthyer be water-resistant or drop proof. Now so far as video high quality, this shoots 720 when the orignal playful shoots 1080. I hooked them both up to my tv and spot no distinction. As a lengthy means as the games they have obtained a so much brighter image and clean video as to where the playfulls are choppy when you transfer them too quick. Takes Photos! however it’s like 1.0 megapixel no lengthyer dangerous still.

takes SD card! so which you could switch out playing cards like a video cassette

Front camera is protected from a “raised body” to prevent you from scratching the lens..if you set and pull out of your pocket or purse.

now I am an enormous believer of “you get what you pay for” so there are some skinnygs I wish to level out

1) usb is brief and takes some time “flipping” it out. it has a 1 inch usb plug which is merely too brief and may get in the means of different subs …but after all you may get an extension usb cable.

2) no auto center of attention. and no micro . (of direction should you pay extra for a better finish camera.) So say you wish to have to take a video of something small and up shut…it’s going to be blurry.

3) video can lose a frame or two..a bit uneven in the adventure you move round lots.. so in case you use it for sports it will now not be smooth.

4) no tripod mount.

for waterproof functions. I haven’t in reality tried it. I’ll replace later.
